The story began more than 50 years ago, when a young Meab set out on her travels through Europe. He was inspired by great artists such as Faberge, the renowned enameler. He was also inspired by local artisans who were able to reuse materials to create unique and bright designs.
He returned home and developed his own "open shot" technique using waste copper water cylinders. This technique allowed him to create not only unique but also avant-garde designs.
She then passed on these skills to her daughter Clair, who has developed her own individual style. Meab and Clair work together in their workshop-studio on their farm in the center of Ireland. They pride themselves on making handmade jewelry and artwork that is authentic, affordable and attractive.
